Shows Like Breaking Bad

What would you do if you found out that you only had a few months to live, were about to have a child and had unpaid debts?

Faced with this situation, Walter White, a chemistry professor, decides to start making meth in secret to get as much money as possible in a short time to leave it to his family before he dies.

The series, which represented a before and after in the history of television, is for the most "serious fans" an unbeatable fiction. This is one of the best shows to ever appear on television, so when looking for other shows like Breaking Bad, we really wanted to compile a worthy list.

Best TV shows and Web Series Similar to Breaking Bad:

1. Ozark

When we talk about Ozark, we would be saying that it is a drama series, with a lot of action, a series that is reminiscent of Breaking Bad, but with money laundering for Mexican drug dealers - instead of cooking meth. It all starts when Martí starts laundering money for a Mexican cartel in Chicago.

At the time he and his family (who he knew nothing about at the real job) were leading a normal life, but when he gets caught up in a problem with the cartel he is forced to travel to Ozark, where they could continue laundering the illegal drug money without any problems with the local police in town.

Here our main character has to juggle problems with locals, his family and of course the drug deals, to keep his family, and his life. A must see for anyone searching for shows like Breaking Bad.

2. The Wire

The Wire was broadcast between 2002 and 2008 on HBO, and is one of the most recommended series of all time.

Each of the series' seasons addresses one of the facets of the problem of drug trafficking in Baltimore and how the police, with more or less interest and having to avoid all kinds of bureaucratic and hierarchical obstacles, try to catch the architects by means of wiretapping.

The main thread of the story is the constant war of a stubborn policeman against drug trafficking from all sides: the street, the fishing grounds of the port, the police institution, the school or the media. This is a masterpiece, which you need to see if you haven’t already.
