The anime follows Touya Mochizuk a fifteen year old who gets accidentally killed by a God. As an apology the god gives him another chance at living, but this time it will be in a fantasy world filled with magic. He also offers him for one special wish, for which Touya requests to have his smartphone in this new world.

Accepting his wish the god modifies the phone with features that will help Touya in this new world and also bestows him with great physical and magical abilities. Taking full advantage of this new chance at life, Touya sets out on an adventure in the new world, making many allies (mainly females) and solving different problems of the world.

The anime follows Subaru Natsuki who is on his way home after shopping suddenly gets summoned to a fantasy world filled with different races and magic. With nothing but a bag of groceries and a now useless cell phone he soon realizes he has no magical powers or amazing physical abilities which is the usual case with Isekai. He soon gets surrounded by thugs and is beaten to a pulp.

Satella, a half-elf girl in search for her stolen insignia finds Subaru and rescues him. Subaru as a way of thanks offers his help in her search and finds the girl who stole it. However, he along with Satella gets killed just after locating the lost insignia. Subaru now awakens in his past and sees the same story repeating itself and realizes his ability to return by death.

With the knowledge gained from this ability, Subaru sets out on an adventure to help Satella. We think the fans of In Another World With My Smartphone would love this unique anime. This doesn't have many troupes of other popular anime in this genre, but it has a great story and we thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Kazuma Satou, a high school NEET during his walk from home to school faces an embarrassing death and meets the goddess Aqua in his afterlife. She offers him with two choices, either he can go to heaven or he can reincarnate in a game like fantasy world. Of course, being a NEET he chooses reincarnation.

He is tasked with killing the demon lord in this new fantasy world and he can choose any one thing to aid him in the new world. After thinking for some time he chooses Aqua only to realize that she is completely useless. He soon realizes it's impossible to defeat the demon lord in their current state and tries to live a normal life. However, fate forces his party to encounter Demon Lords' generals.

Both the anime have an almost identical start and settings with the only difference with KonoSuba being the hero is very weak in comparison and misfortune always has a way to find him. This is a very funny anime similar to In Another World With My Smartphone and a must watch for those looking for similar shows.

He teaches Shin in the ways of magic and fighting, however realizes his lack of socializing skills and common sense. To overcome this Merlin enrolls Shin in the top Magic Academy of the kingdom. Shin must try to socialize with the students at the academy and learn more about the world.

Just like in another world with my smartphone, the protagonist of this show too is too powerful in his world thanks to his memories from his previous life and his grandfather the hero of the kingdom.
